  OGUZ- EDGE PICTURESQUE NATURE

 Oguz is located on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus, and the highest point district – Malkamud mountain (3879 m). This city is called Switzerland Azerbaijan. The nature of these places is extraordinarily beautiful: mountain rivers and valleys, geysers and waterfalls, sulfur springs and harsh rocks.  Oguz is an edge with an ancient and rich history.The historian Strabo, who lived in the 1st century BC gave specific information about the Oguz tribes. Numerous historical monuments have been preserved in the region. Among them: an Albanian temple in the city of Oguz, a three-storeyed tower of the 9th c. in 20 km from district center in the village of Mukas, on the top of Mount Galadag, 40 km from district center is the defensive tower of the VII century. Govur is one of the the most important monuments of history.Still Oguz masters have saved these times traditions of national crafts, such as carpet weaving, carving on metal and wood, jewelry.  One of the most beautiful places in Azerbaijan is the village of Khal Khal, located on the territory of Oguz district. Here we will visit the center family vacation “Trout”, in which the most beautiful waterfall Oguza Hal Hal. On the territory of the recreation center there is a small beautiful lake where visitors fish, and also ride on boats. The water of Hal-Hal is very impressive. You’ll get a lot of positive energy, watching the descending from the rocks silvery streams of water. If you want to swim closer to the waterfall, you can rent a small rubber inflatable boat, and surely swimming will give you a lot of fun. Oguz is a place where still have corners of unspoilt virgin nature, suitable for the beautiful country rest.
